Kiosk is an Aarhus-based band that makes original audio poetry. The band unites music and poetry in a subtle, accessible and honest way. In 2020, Kiosk released the album Tæt nok på which was “Album of the Week” on P8 Jazz. In 2023, the follow-up Drift came out, from which the song “Paloma” was nominated as Single of the Year at the Danish Jazz Awards 2023. Nyt ritual is Kiosks third studio album. It is a jazz-poetic album that is an interpretation of the classic liturgy of the church service – in Kiosk’s version with a feminine, poetic, humorous and down-to-earth touch.
